The WCR Center for the Arts will host its first annual Beard Fest on Friday, November 30, 2018! Two great bands: Uncle Jake & the 18 Wheel Gang and Headliner, Nik Greeley & The Operators will perform! The Reading Beard and Mustache Club will run the nights competition with several “Best Of” contests, celebrity judges, and awards. Gourmand Cafe's food truck will be out front all night. This event is a collaboration with Pollen Consolidated and the Reading Occasional Cocktail Club, who will be serving up their signature cocktails and craft beers all evening!! All proceeds will help to support the preservation of the WCR Center for the Arts. This beautiful and historic building is a place for the arts & community engagement and is located in downtown Reading. Tickets are $15 each.
Attendees of the event have the opportunity to purchase a logoed tasting glass, commemorating the event. Glasses are $10 each and can be purchased as part of the ticket price, or purchased the night of at the door. Glass enables the participants to sample beers provided by Chatty Monks. Cash bar will be available.
